Description

This delightful little Staffordshire river is best enjoyed by the roaming angler. Many twists and turns with shallow runs and deep holes. Chub, perch, pike & barbel can all be found to specimen size. Best fished in late summer, autumn and winter when there is more water in the river.

Approaches

Netherseal: From Tamworth take road signposted Harlaston. From Harlaston continue to Clifton Campville. Turn left over river the right to Netherseal, turn right again, parking just over the river bridge.

Note: There is a short gap in the fishing immediately above Netherseal Bridge.
