Approaches
Hampton Loade Left Bank: from Kidderminster take A442 towards Bridgnorth, turn left off A442 onto road signed, Hampton Loade, P River Severn and Car Park (with National Trust logo), there is a wooden bus shelter on junction. Follow road down towards river and turn right into National Trust car park at ferry (NO FEE PAYABLE FOR BAA MEMBERS. MEMBERS ARE ADVISED TO IDENTIFY VEHICLES LEFT AS BAA IN ORDER TO AVOID A TICKET. BAA GUIDE BOOK OR CAR STICKERS SHOULD BE USED)
Please note: The car park access gate is not opened until 8.00am. and is locked again at 6.00pm.
For members wishing to access the car park before 8.00am (subject to BAA permitted fishing times) the code for the gate lock can be obtained, in advance, by calling the BAA office on 01562 882116. The lock code changes on the 1st of every month.

Hampton Loade barbel
Nice Prince of the River weighing in at 8lb 12oz and best of the day, from Hampton Loade. It fell to hair rigged halibut pellet on a warm afternoon. Regards Andy Swatton.
