Cross the old orchard from the lay-by, over the footbridge and this is one of the first upstream pegs.
Upstream where the bank is cover with a wide stretch of trees, a stone beach runs alongside the river for some distance.
Nice easy access peg
A deep pool, but watch out sunk trees.
At the upstream end of the river, the banks are steep, but it's worth exploring. Also you may be lucky and see mink, otters, buzzards and lamprey.
