Manor Farm, Wasperton

Avon

Description

Relatively shallow stretch of the Avon with deeper water downstream. The upstream section has considerable weed and reed growth in summer. Vehicles may be driven along the bank to chosen pegs but be careful as the bank is rutted as a result and muddy in wet weather. Chub, roach, perch pike and barbel plus occasional trout can be caught here, mainly on light float tackle.
