Pershore trees thinning

We have arranged with a company to thin out the trees in our wood in meadow 2 on Pershore Right Bank.

The work will involve the thinning of the trees in the section of the wood alongside Meadow 1 and the far section of the wood. The central section does not require thinning as that has already been done.

This work will start around the start of the river season and last for about 1 month. It should not affect fishing along that stretch but it will cause some noise. The company carrying out the work will put up warning notices to make users of the area aware (anglers and dog walkers).

The purpose of the thinning is to allow the remaining trees to grow to a good size which will provide a valuable crop of timber from a variety of natural English deciduous trees.
