Phil's catch report 01
Made my first trip to the Staffordshire and Worcestershire canal at Hinksford. Quiet and pretty stretch with the countryside looking stunning as the trees turn from green to yellow and red. Short session of three hours weighed 9lb 12oz including three dog roach that went 12oz a piece all on breadpunch and caster. Looking forward to coming back and trying the other local stretches. Phil Mattock, Smithy’s Angling Centre
What's being caught here: Me and my friend caught this bag full of roach, sliver bream, perch, rudd and even a young chub on Sunday 25th March 2018. 1st trip to a canal in over 10 years for us both and what a result. The star of the show was the 2lb bream
