Pools

  • Uckinghall

    This well established pool holds 55 pegs and contains carp, roach, bream, tench, eels, perch, pike, zander & rudd. Depths range from 4 to 8 feet. Methods include pole and float in contests. Legering for the bigger specimens. Bread, corn & maggots are the most popular bait for match anglers, whilst boilies & pellets are favoured by the big fish anglers.
  • Apperley

    Two pools (formerly clay pits) close to the River Severn below Tewkesbury. The larger (No2) pool holds 28 pegs and is up to 12 feet deep. Carp, tench, bream, perch and pike plus large eels are resident on both pools.
  • Nordley

    A series of six pools with easy access. Pools 1-5 can be booked for contests. All the pools contain carp, roach, bream, tench and perch. Carp over 25lbs make these pools popular with specimen hunters and pleasure anglers alike.
  • Mythe Pool

    600 metres long, with 25 purpose built platforms on the eastern approach bank for contests. The remainder of the pool is reserved for individual anglers. Depths of 4-8 feet with carp, bream, perch, tench & roach the main species.

  • Coppice Lake

    This pool was excavated in 1990 and has depths ranging from 3 to 8 feet. Stocked with carp, bream, tench, roach and perch. The pool has a reputation for producing specimen size carp to 25lbs.
  • Retreat Farm Pools

    A group of three small pools plus half a mile of right bank River Severn fishing, immediately downstream of our Grimley Fishery and upstream of Bevere Lock, Grimley. Pools 1 & 2 together hold approx.. 30 pegs and can be booked for contests. Pool 1 is stocked with carp. Pool 2 is stocked with tench, crucians and some silver fish. Pool 3 contains no fish and is awaiting stocking.
