Bidford Right Bank
Called to Bidford right bank today and met with member Phil Brown.
He was fishing the pegs below the weir and was telling me that since our working party cut and cleared the over hanging trees and bush’s he now regularly fish’s the swim. He said that it’s now a fantastic long stick float peg for the roach and chub, also there are two pegs for fishing the lead or feeder for the big barbel, chub and carp.
Whilst I was with him he was getting a fish every trot down, feeding hemp and maggot alternating between bread punch and double maggot, a treat to watch.
I am sure not many member know the pegs are there but it's well worth the long walk from the car park and cross over the lock.
