Coronavirus latest

The BAA advises members to follow the latest government guidelines urging people to stay at home to help minimise the spread of coronavirus.

The BAA has decided to cancel all booked contests until further notice. When the government eases these restrictions, clubs with cancelled contest booking should contact BAA HQ to rebook.

These latest government restrictions will delay the start of the Fisheries strimming season. It will therefore be highly likely that many of our fisheries will be overgrown and suffering from the impact the the winters floods come the start of the season in June. Will will post an update closer to the 16th June.

From our 'Superintendent Bailiff Kevin Pearson'

During this period some of our bailiffs may be walking our waters as part of their daily exercise and to maintain a presence. Please keep a safe distance from them and if asked for your membership card we would be grateful if all members could cooperate with them during this difficult period by clearly displaying their membership cards so that they can note the details without the need to physically handle the card.
