On Sunday 24th September the Velo Birmingham is held and 15,000 cyclists are riding a 100 mile route from Birmingham around Staffordshire and Worcestershire, roads used for this will be closed to traffic during the day.
As a result, getting to some our our waters will be impossible for at least part of the day due to the compulsory road closures.
The impacted venues are;
Fisheries in Wombourne, Swindon and Caunsall on the Staffs Worcester canal.
Part of the Bridgnorth road will be closed as will the bridge in Bewdley making access to the Stour and Severn venues respectively impossible (the road at Ribbesford will be shut for part of the day).
