Blackstone flood assessment method tests

The BAA has have given permission for a team from Loughborough University to access our land at Blackstone on Monday 19 February.

The purpose is to test a new flood assessment method by placing small (A4) size targets along the river bank and overflying the site with a drone to calibrate their instruments. The targets are simple coloured, laminated sheets placed on the ground at intervals. They have assured me that all will be removed after the exercise.

It is also possible that a team from the EA will be in attendance to observe.
