Knowle Sands double.
I have attached a couple of pics, if you could publish them on the website that would be great! First is a 15lb Pike I caught at Knowle Sands Sunday 20th September and the second is my first 10lb Barbel caught at the same spot a couple of weeks before. Thanks, Simon Morris.

What's caught here - February 2016
What a great session at Knowle again 5 Barbel and 1 chub. I wasnt planning on going today but a friend cancelled a planned meet so I ventured down river again instead. Despite forecast it turned into a lovely morning (if you could get out of the wind) with air temperature at 14C. I drove to Eardington to try at Knowle Sands again but went to a peg that I hadnt been able to fish for about two months as the river had been to high. I must have been the only nutter down there so the long walk to the peg hoping it was going to be free was worth it. I duly cast out one rod with lob worms and set-up my other rod on bread flake for chub. First cast out the bread rod hooped over but I missed the bite - next five casts proved fruitless so went back onto lobs on this rod too. After a bit of casting around I eventually found some fish and finished this peg with five barbel in the net. Swim then went dead so I moved upstream but nowt on this one either.- packed it in and decided to try another couple of pegs on the way back to the car. To cut a long story short didnt get any more barbel but caught a nice chub then lost another at the net. Went home wet but happy as the drizzle had now well and truly set in. That's twenty six barbel in the last five sessions at Knowle - not bad at all for winter fishing! Chris
