Hi all, I'm thinking of going to Arley Left Bank at the weekend.

I've seen that the car park is now locked from 7pm onwards - does anyone know what time in the morning it is opened?

I'm fancying an early start, but may need to go somewhere else if I can't park.

Re: Arley Left Bank Car Park

I think you have the wrong car park.
It is Hampton Loade which is closed at night
Sorry. I am wrong!
The Arley Left Bank car park is locked at night.
If it is the same as Hampton Loade it closes in summer at 9pm (up to the 31st August) and 7pm
for the rest of the season.
You would need to check if it is the same.
A friend of mine fished Arley LB last Saturday and the car park was still open when he left at 8.30pm.

Re: Arley Left Bank Car Park

It is the arley left bank car park that's supposed to shut at 7.30 although the last couple of times I've been there recently it has still been open past 9.If it is shut then there is enough space for about 4 or 5 cars just before the gate.

Thanks Stew, I thought there were a few spaces before the gate, but wasn't sure.

I like fishing there, but it's very popular, so I usually hike a fair distance from the car park up to meadow 2 or thereabouts.

Yea it's a bit of a circus this time of year, some very good pegs up there if you don't mind a walk. The other option is to park on the harbour waters and walk over the footbridge.
