Hi all!
We are planning a trek up to charlton weir after the whiskers and wondered, I know it is a long walk but is it rough track, or a rucksack job and roughly how long does it take to walk there.
Any help/advice would be helpful

Re: charlton weir

I only did it once, you cross the railway line, go down the hill by the crops, 100yds? through gate, continue down hill to small stream with a sty and bridge. the river is maybe another 100yds away and the weir is probably 400yds to your right. Its a bit of a hike, cattle in the fields when i was there so quite rutted in places and a bit boggy too near the treeline.
