Out at Coppice Thursday ..had a nice carp 24 lb, after resting in net for a while as I approached water to release, a close to double figure pike was mooching around the net...
It was definitely a pike, I attempted to take pic but too much glare..i was not aware that there were pike in this pond..
Has anyone else seen or caught a pike here or know of any historical pike catch..

Thats first iv heard of any pike . also i`m surprised a pike of that size would be interested of a carp that size .
was coppice lake not frozen then ?

light coating of ice in wind..attracted by splashing I assume..i used to fish there years ago and have never heard of one before..
