You would not recognize the place, (Bidford R/B).
I walked down the meadow last year and found that the shingle beach (the flier) was no longer there.
I would say it had been washed away by the big floods.
Of course another flood could could drop a load of shingle back in the same place.
Looked like the island was no longer fished.
I fished the peg next to the top fence and had a lot of small fish on float fished tare.
Had several chub and one suspected barbel on, but is was so weedy I never got a single one to the net.
