If it's the gate to the car park you're talking about it's not a BAA gate or lock, I believe it's NT.
Don't forget that you only have one hour after sunset to fish on BAA waters ( unless you've bought a night permit for certain venues ) but there's no night fishing allowed on BAA Hampton Loade left bank. Sunset today is around 8.15 pm so it doesn't give you a lot of time before the gate is closed.
