This can be frustrating, always a good idea to check the BAA work plan on the web site to see what work has been done if going anywhere that may be a challenge. I seem to remember in one BAA handbook, not sure about the current one, some stretches of the Teme described as for the '' intrepid angler '', which I would interpret as nigh on impossible, but as they have commented in the past, they try to cater for everyone Of course if you haven't seen a place before it is a gamble anyway.

But also it does seem that it is money not best spent to be paying to rent a stretch that has very few or at times no fishable pegs, on the odd time or two I have fished the Teme pegs have been at a premium, and of course it is wasted money if you have a long journey and find you can't fish.

Nevertheless the BAA does offer tremendous value, though I am lucky in having the Avon within 15 to 20 minutes. Wish they could get some River Arrow, a good stretch with easy parking ? Some nice chub and barbel in there.
