Hi. I am planning on fishing the Avon at manor farm wasperton for the very first time, can anyone tell how it’s fishing lately and where the best pegs to fish with minimum walking, I see on the baa website that cars can drive to pegs, is this ok and accessible? Thanks

You should be able to park by your peg with this dry weather I fished it a couple of weeks ago lots of small fish on the float quite a few perch that was the upstream meadow.
Good luck

Re: Manor farm was per ton.

Had a look last Sunday afternoon. No anglers as far as I could see which surprised me. Can park behind a lot of pegs. I only looked upstream. River was very clear, almost like a chalkstream. Could see the river bed quite a way out.

Pretty weedy in most pegs. Lot of bankside overgrown now. Be prepared to bash down stingers/foliage on a lot of pegs.. Glad to hear fish been caught on an earlier posting.

Thanks for the info everyone, looks like it might be worth a bash Think the Avon suffers from weed growth in the more shallow waters during summer. Don’t know what happened to the spelling of wasperton but spell checker kept altering it
