went to retreat farm on river severn on way back noticed sheep had excaped. some of fence was missing. got sheep back in paddock tried to repair fence.
right by 1st gate left hand side

I fished this stretch last week while my son done some licence checks, I also noticed that some sheep were outside of the main fenced off field. You are right that the bottom rail on a section of the perimeter fence was broken and the sheep were getting through. My son actually pointed this out to the owner who happened to be driving around the fields that day and his answer was that the sheep " can go wherever they want" and was quite unconcerned about the situation - until something happens to one of his sheep no doubt !!
