Does anyone know what is happening with the bolehall anker stretch, what used to be a river with good clarity is now looking awful, since the middle of last year we have noticed the river running brown and a funny pale colour.

Have you reported this to the Environment Agency?Might be an idea if there’s a potential pollution incident

Yes, the EA know about it and so does John Williams. Apparently the EA tweeted: “ We've investigated the orange tint to the River Sence and River Anker and are aware of high levels of sediment. There are no signs of impact on aquatic life and will continue to monitor this closely. If anyone sees fish in distress please report it to us on 0800 80 70 60.”

Would be interesting to know what’s causing it though.Will be too late when fish start going belly up.
