Re: SalwarpThe Salwarpe isn't what it used to be,the cormorants have decimated it but it always fishes better with a bit of water on,as for Holt fleet I'd get there early if you want a peg as it's usually packed on there early in the season especially on a Saturday

Re: SalwarpThe Severn is obviously a lot bigger so can cope better with predation,going by the amount of cormorants I've seen sat in the trees where it comes into the Severn I'd say they are the main cause of the decline in weights of silvers from there.

Re: SalwarpI haven't really fished the Severn around Stourport much I use to fish the Severn a lot in Worcester so I'm a bit new round here

Re: Salwarpwell from 2nd meadow at blackstone the severn becomes deeper and slow, so stourport, grimley hallow etc about the same as worcester . first meadow at blackstone shallow and then up to bewdley and onwards the same, trimpley, arley etc .
