Re: Some where new

Hi - not sure about Grimley - fished there two weeks ago on decent peg - hoping for a few bream, perhaps odd barbel or chub - fished ground bait feeder with maggot or caster/ worm as hook bait. Fished fairly hard for 4 hours on a river with a tinge of colour and slightly above normal summer level. Basically blanked. had a couple of line bites but nothing seemed to be feeding - couldn't even get a bite on maggot. Mind you - I always blame river and conditions for my ineptitude..... Good luck. Re: Some where new

Arley, Harbour Inn side, I've not fished there for about 3 weeks but I have fished about half a mile down stream and it's been decent. Either barbel have been feeding or some decent roach have been coming out.

River level has dropped back from that extra water we had so bumper day time catches might be a bit of an ask but I'd be surprised if you didn't catch something.
