i was at Trimpley yesterday evening.
i park at Arley and walk the path. takes about 40 min to get to the gravel bed. but was stopping and looking at pegs on way down.
i used my carp barrow ( single wheel type) and find much easier this way
. once you get out the woods. you are in the field with the reservoirs. some solar panals on your left.
keep walking with river on your right. you will come to narrow foot brigde. just over this and down on your right is the big gravel beach. shallow and fast water !
its not a bad walk, much better than via the wood/ reservoir.
one way back up i fished the float near the B&B (worralls grove) nice bit of gravel in pacey flow.
but didn't catch anything.
walk back took 15 mins from the b&b but if its dark a good head torch a must if you don`t know path
and yes its worth the effort for barbel n chub smiling
