I make no apologies for banging on again about the Pool. The Severn peaked at around 7ft above normal earlier today(Sat). If anyone was thinking of going to Uckinghall --forget it. I went down this morning and all but the flood bank end is under water and all platforms are under water.Obviously when the rivers are in flood the obvious place to look to fish are pools and canals. Uckinghall is the exception. When the river rises the pool rises and continues to rise even when the Severn falls and takes an age to return to normal level. I know that the powers that be within the Association are fully aware of the situation but still chose to do nothing. If a similar issue happened at Coppice it would be dealt with pretty damn quickly. The powers that be are aware of what the solution is to prevent continual river water inundating the pool. Someone at HQ needs to take this problem on board and get it sorted. The Association OWN the pool so for gods sake(and hundreds of members who fish this pool) get something done to ensure this problem doesn't keep happening every time the Severn gets more tan 4ft above normal.
