Can anyone give me any information on pike fishing on the canal in Worcester please as it’s a very long stretch, I had ago today between bridge 30-31 but no joy ? Ino most folks are all secret about good sections but any advice would be nice please cheers guys

That appears to be the Shernal Green section. I have fished that section many times but only for silvers, however talking to a chap one time he said pike were pretty much none existent on that stretch though some zander were present. I like canals, shame that parking is very much at a premium at any access point. Hope this helps.

I don't know that particular stretch but like many local waters, the canal is subject to poaching and the pike are a prime target. That said, there are still a few fish to be had and I usually manage to catch a few - although they are typically not very big.
A mobile approach with fairly large slow sinking soft plastics is usually the most successful tactic and I've recently been using the largest of the Storm Wildeye swim shads fished slowly and erratically.
Spinner baits are also worth a chuck, especially where there are a lot of snags.
