Fished Arley RB last week (mid week) below Harbour Inn only to discover 1. The place was very busy - busier than I have ever seen it before. Is that because the LB Car park closes at 7pm now? 2. The bottom field (Meadows) has a new sign up saying Private Fishing, which transpires is a day ticket section now (£6 on the bank or you can buy a ticket from Bewdley Tackle), even though the Map Book image seems to designate BAA up to the rail bridge - see attached file. It is not clear from the BAA sign, on the access gate, that this is the downstream limit of the beat.

So have BAA released this stretch recently or does the Map Book image misrepresent the extent of the BAA fishing rights? Either way it is a long way to walk to find out that the fishing is private day ticket so the Map Book needs updating as a few good pegs I have fished previously are now no longer under BAA control(or never where?). Have I fished this section in the past, luckily, without having to pay the day ticket fee?

Re: Arley RB Downstream Boundary

I dont think it's ever gone down to the bridge has it?

I think the last swim is probably 150/200yds or more above the bridge.

Re: Arley RB Downstream Boundary

That's right the baa stretch ends where the sign says private fishing, the small section downstream to the bridge is private.
