Re: Carp at BredonI know it's not BAA but it's a nice day ticket stretch and once you get to know Martin the lock keeper it's nice to know he keeps a watchful eye over your vehicle and he doesn't take any nonsense which is good.I think the some of the carp there have probably come from Larford in the floods but who knows.

Re: Carp at BredonMost of the Avon stretches have got carp, I assume standard carp tactics would work, not too dissimilar than those for barbel I suppose. I remember reading quite a few years back about a 39lb (I think) carp that was caught at Eckington Bridge...not a million miles from Bredon.
