I was thinking of fishing Severn stoke rnd of week when weather cools a bit what's it like as never fished there before

It's a very nice stretch, with some good walks up and down from the car park, if you head a bit upstream there is a Heronry far bank, and if you continue walking you will come to some beautiful cliffs again far bank. The car car parking is good and the terrain level, but with steep banks,
What species are you targeting? In the summer day time a good method is a small pellet on the hook and a feeder mid river. Roach last season were obliging, some big slabs too I had one 7lb plus Friday.
It's a stretch that you cannot say where produces, you just have to sort it out for yourself.
