A thread hijacking occurs when one or more individuals commenting on the original posting, go off topic, creating a separate conversation. This is rude, and bad internet etiquette. If people want to discuss a different topic, they should start their own thread.

By waffling on about updating of this forum and not a single mention between you of ''tackle-tips'' ( whether you like the idea or not) you have hijacked the thread.

If you want to waffle about the state of this forum, just open a new thread and it can be discussed.
