Birmingham Anglers Association

I fished one of the new pools (No1) last weekend with the promise that it was stocked with some of our more traditional species such as roach and crucians, the only other fish to be caught apart from carp were 2 chub (no doubt trapped by floods). Why stock carp at all? If i wanted to catch carp i could stop at any one of the dozen carp pools i passed on my 7 mile drive to this venue!

Hopefully BAA will see sense and not add carp to pool 3.
