I see on facebook some body has posted a recent photo of a well known barbel thats goes by the name of red spot. It was a regular fish caught from Severn Stoke. It must be getting on in age now. Its good to see it still alive, For how much longer who knows ?

Re: Red Spot ?

I have never understood why "mug" fish are so revered, easy target for fish chasers?
I am 100% certain it doesn't "go by the name of red spot",since when could Barbel talk?

Re: Red Spot ?

Perhaps it should be renamed '' The Traveler '' Knowing how it goes up and down the severn from Tewkesbury, Birds meadow, Ripple, Severn Stoke and all the way up to the KFL stretch at Kempsey.
