Like many others, I fish Stourport regularly over the winter months for the roach fishing. Just wondered if anyone fishes there in summer and if so, what the fishing is like. Never seen anyone feeder fishing there, looks like it might be good for a few bream? Will go and give it a try once we have had some rain and a flush through. Just wondered if anyone out there had any experience of summer fishing in the area.

Re: Stourport / Newhall MeadowsMickgrove, regarding your question about catching bream at Stourport Newhalls, I have tried for bream in similar conditions as recently but only caught perch. As you said, it will be worth a try with some extra water on. I know that bream are caught quite often on the Lyttleton matches upstream of the bridge, but these matches are run later in the year. Wait for a couple of feet of water then give it a go.
