Hi just been looking at this app which it seems is very good. Just think perhaps we could have the fisheries or carparks marked by these as Post Codes as we all know are quite generic. On that note I went to Stanford bridge today, 2 possible fishable swims maybe another couple that people have tried to access and the 3 words for this fishery car park are inclines.flattens.blasted if you put that in the What three words app and then press navigate it will take you to your chosen route finder and mark the spot. It is much better than PO. All I am asking is when people get to a car park open the app take photo of the 3 words and post on here or facebook. Will help a lot of us newer memeber find where we need to go I think. Any Thoughts???

Re: What 3 words

Not a bad shout dave. I don't use the app myself, although all I've heard about it is how good it Is, so maybe I should download it. Could be a good one for bailiffs to help with- they're out and about covering many stretches regularly, I'm sure it wouldn't be too difficult for them to post locations up. Also could be used for clarifying boundaries, such as the confusion over doddenham posted on here.

I also think it's a good thing to use for emergency services. If you need emergency assistance by the river it can be very difficult to explain where to go, especially as many stretches only have a 'nearby' car park and can be difficult to find. I went with a bailiff to a stretch on the severn last week and even he got lost having been there a few times!

The downside- anyone posting a catch will be inundated with requests of 'what three words did you catch it from, and what bait?'

So looks like they are going to start adding what 3 words to book. Brilliant idea. Parking will be spot on. And the boundaries great idea
