Hi Pete,

Defo 1 hour after sunset, so yes you would have to leave in the winter months before you arrived. lol... I would love it if the association could find it in their hearts to reduce the price of night tickets, but to be frank, they make a lot of money from those who 'actually' buy them, me and my buddy have spent over £200 in night tickets alone this year. Which sickens me to think people are fishing through the night without them. And trust me, we have seen them and as you say, at venues where night fishing is not allowed. Holt Fleet had 5 of them earlier on in the season. We passed them as we were leaving and they asked us why we were going, we explained the rules and they just laughed with a comment of "well nobody bothers here, coz the bailiff never comes down after dark", I remember when the guy in the cottage ruled the water with an iron fist, no parking near the lock and he used to come down and tell you when it was time to pack up. I guess he got sick of the abuse and threats, and your right about the rubbish, we were down for a night session at Brook Section last weekend and we took a bin bag of the stuff (not ours) back to the van. I so wish people would learn respect for the things they clearly take for granted, most of the waters are set in beautiful surroundings with cracking wildlife, but (hopefully) the minority are set on ruining it for the rest of us. All I can say, is I'm glad I don't live with them, there must be bottles and crisp packets all over their living rooms.....
