Re: What do you want from the BAA

I do think that some BAA officials take their time to read these forums and hopefully they take on board some of the thoughts/opinions. Stacklands as you say, is a definite example of this.

The Stacklands example was a pretty isolated case mind. For example, BAA advertise a fishery for sale. Member ask where this fishery has come from since it has never been listed. Did anyone ever explain, did they heck.

A little sense in the construction of rules and regulations would be nice.
For instance:

Rule C.4 (a) makes it against the rules to spin for chub and perch unless you have modified the lure so it has a single hook.

Rule C.7 means that I am fishing illegally if I stand in the middle of the river without the encumbrance of a landing net and unhook fish in the water or lift them in my hand and then immediately return them after unhooking.

Rule D.4 makes it against the rules to smoke - not that I do.
