A low and crystal clear Avon and a warm sunny day was not ideal for big weights on the day and the result confirmed this as all the catches were of smaller fish. And despite comments about there not being enough pegs available on venues, we got them in no problem, as we always do and we're not afraid of cutting back pegs on the odd occasion if required. We do our homework on venues before booking or fishing a match on any venue and that includes non BAA venues.
