I was just going through past match results, and came across Yardley Ex Service contest at Severn Stoke August 8. A near 7lb Zander was weighed in, and bearing in mind they should not be returned to the water alive (BAA rule ) I would be interested to know if that was the case. Although I never want to catch one I don't think my conscience would allow me to kill it. Am I alone on this one?

Re: Zander at Severn StokeHi Johnny-care. BAA guide book under bye-laws and regulations. Contests rules G10 quote All fish with the exception of Zander shall be returned alive to the water unquote. Now this can only mean Zander returned dead or not returned at all.
