Well ill start with an apology...sorry i caught loads of barbel at stacklands without a permit !!!
I hadnt checked the website for months and only today noticed i needed to book a session here.....oops....
Saying that i arrived 5PM THURS meeting the farmer at the gate whod just cut back the grass nicely..had a good chat with him and parked up to find i had the whole place to myself...glorious evening...so good i put two rods out for a change, and had both rods go over on the first cast !!! Unbelievable...8lb and 9lb barbel...two small chub later a 10lb beauty and then two more around the 8lb mark...all fin perfect ...only stayed till 8.30 and had a chub on my last cast too..what a superb gorgeous stretch..ill ask for a permit next time ..sorry again...well not really!
