Salford Priors

Last time I went to fish Salford Priors it was so badly rutted I couldn't drive down to the river. This was a couple of years ago could anybody please tell me if it is still the same.

Re: New venues

Love all the posts about new venues and travelling time. The BAA book is great value to fish some of our rivers. Coming from the East Midlands I have to travel 50 to 70 miles to fish the likes of the Severn and avon. I do have the Anker close by so on a selfish note any new stretches of the Tame near Tamworth would cut down travelling time. But it is a Birmingham book and even though I only use it about 15 times a year its great value when you consider the cost of day tickets.
It would be interesting too know who travels the furthest to fish BAA waters?
