Re: b.a.a. forum d'anglers a.c. 2023 matches booked

Hi CF59,

thanks for arranging this, it's greatly appreciated, not only by me but I'm sure all of your fellow D'Anglers.

The dates are in my diary and at this moment in time I have no clashes. That may change when the 23/24 Wolves fixtures are announced.

Looking forward to seeing you all.

Re: the b.a.a. forum d'anglers a.c. is born !

Hi CF59 et Al,

I'm not that familiar with BAA waters so will go with my fellow D'Anglers suggestions and preferences.

I'm really looking forward to our next competition. Would it be possible to put dates forward for our next competitions so we can get then in our diaries.

Thanks to everyone who has been instrumental in setting up and supporting what I beleive will become a great angling venture.

Re: b.a.a. club affiliation

Great to see so many interested in forming a D'Anglers club. (BTW, "D'Anglers" makes my wife chuckle every time I say it).

Here's a thought, how about 3 - 4 competitions a year, each with a different name. We have the Isaac Walton Plate, so, if in agreement we to need think of another 2 - 3 names. the winner of each competition could then keep the "trophy" for a year. Does anyone have any obscure fishing related trophies they could donate and have a competition named after? The more obscure the better.

Agreeing the dates of the competitions once we've formed would be beneficial, e.g. last Saturday in March, June etc (only suggestions). Also, having multiple competitions would provide flexibility to get to one of the dates and for more D'Anglers to join us.

We could also share out the arranging of competitions, pegging out & weigh ins etc.

Re: match day on the staffs/worc

Thank you, thank you, thank you to all who setup and organised this event. I had a great day out as did everyone else.

As soon as I got out my car and meet my fellow D'Anglers I knew I was in good company. Thank you for your hospitality, friendship and conversation.

I also learned something on Saturday, regardless of size or quantity, don't doubt yourself and always weigh in.

I'm now looking for the next one.

Re: b.a.a. club affiliation

Hi Carlingford,

Great that you are sorting this, count me in.

If the future competitions go as good as it did on Saturday we are all in for a great time.
