Re: new to the riversHi , you could have a look on YouTube there’s a few informative videos on fishing flooded rivers,sorting out the typical pegs that are fishable and may contain a few fish My best day on the warks Avon was when it was bank high I had four barbel over 10lb so don’t be too put off and good luck

Re: Trying To Find and Fish the River Mease.For less than a pound a week it’s got to be the best value fishing in the country, venues like the mease in my opinion thrive on a bit of neglect because it’s the anglers that like to roam around and cut out a few pegs here and there that succeed. I don’t think it would last long if it was completely accessible its too small a river.
