hi, happy new to you all. I normally fish down eardington but seeing as the severn is in flood and probably going to be that way for quite some time i was thinking of doing a bit of puddle chucking. i was thinking of apperley lakes. Anyone got any info on this? is it worth making a trip down there or is there a better pool that the baa have thats worth visiting? any info what so ever would be great.

These pools are tough at the best of times, so I reckon you might want to reconsider here. Plus its a bit of a walk, so could make things a whole lot worse. I would go to Uckinghall, if its not in the River, plenty of silvers that will feed, and a good head of Roach, a good Winter venue. Fish light, loose feed maggot or caster you will be fine.

I presume you mean Ukinghall .I went down there yesterday and the water was about a meter from the top of the flood bank.
