All three are very tough waters to fish and could all probably do with some fresh stock as I think they have all been decimated by floods and predation over they years. Blanks are not uncommon. Ukinghall is probably the best of the three. To be honest I joined for the rivers, if I want to fish a stillwater I normally go elsewhere (Cotswolds gravel pits) or Linear. Or if you want a short session try a canal.

Had a non fishing walk around Uckinghall yesterday, there was a match on but nothing of note to report, with many blanking. Not surprising with the huge Zander that are in there'

TROTTING4ME...South Cerney Angling Club would be your best bet for gravel pits in the water parks. And if you fancy a pint and a snack it also has a club house at Ham Pool so no excuses not to take the other half too Ha!

Fished Mythe yesterday, unfortunately noisy match on other bank. Caught a few Bream up to 6lb.
Saw some lovely Carp cruising on top. Busy being romantic I think. Lovely spot and nice to see kingfisher.

Thanks for replies folks. Fished uckinghall yesterday and blanked. Very tough to see bites on maggot & worm, seems a tough venue to me ! Nice to do some fishing though after such a long lay off !

In view of the current debate about Uckinghall perhaps you should have tried dead bait ??????.

think most venues bit hard at mo, dont give up on uckinghall because when warms up in next few weeks the bream and tench sport is spot on ! get a good south west wind and overcast sky,
fish corn if you dont want bits... waggler my fav. i use a power wagger rod with 5lb line. as bream and tench put up a good scrap and some very good size to smiling
mythe pool the same, iv never hit the 100lb yet. but dam close ,

Sorry for late response - been away. Horcott is a favourite on the Cotswolds pits, Bradleys and other Watermark lakes and also linear complex near Witney.
You can catch at Mythe and Uckinghall but they can be tricky and Mythe is very much a dawn start water I am told if you want to get the best.

A mate fished Horst last season, devoid of Tench. Seems the Carpers rule there now.
