Fished Stacklands today. River was so low in places your could get most of the way across without it gong over your wellies. Fished the bottom section, not a touch. Had some cracking fish out of there over the years but this year its been my nemesis

I have not fished there but equally would like to try it out for barbel this season. I seem to remember seeming another thread about lower swims being better.

Had a few hours to spare this afternoon, was going to Pershore but after reading this thread decided on Fladbury. Very few people there for a change but river temperature was 6.2. This dropped to 5.8. Even the chub were not having it. Had a lot of blanks this winter!

I think the ticket system was until the end of September - unless this has been extended.

One of my favorite stretches, looking to go next week again although this warm spell forecast on the weekend could make things interesting - hopefully in a positive way though
