Me and my better half walked from bridge 41 to 42 on sunday 29th .. i parked on the triangle island at bridge 41(the only parking available) with my van on there it only left room for 4 more cars .. i sent a photo to our leader RES REG.. having walked the stretch the first thing apparent was the very narrow walk way 4 foot at best. no were near enough room the place your gear and fish in comfort. with dog walkers and bikes.. 2nd.. over 50% of the nearside bank was moored with boats.. not leaving much to space the pegs out . adding to that there is 3 spaces where you carnt fish dew to power lines.. 3rd i spoke to a local gent who was having a nice day out fishing with his daughter ..minimal gear but still having to shuffle his chair so we could pass .. he told me that he was fishing there as its never booked for contests due to lack of room.. ( this rings true to me as in all my years of fishing this area 41 to 42 has never cropped up.) 4th (far bank features) there are none. just a brick wall the full length . no cover , no bushes no trees Nothing... ,, im aware that doesn't mean no fish . having spoke to our secretary REG he promptly emailed J WILLIAMS and explained our findings.. J WILLIAMS replied instantly reminding us as a club our rights to adjust our section to a nearby section that is available. as we see fit.. now heres the thing we were originally booked from 41 to 42 meaning we would have to park at bridge 42. Due to space. now we will still meet up and park in the same place bridge 42 ( no change there).. IV spoke the Steve the manager of the sports cub who has kindly allowed us to use his carpark and his club...the only difference is we will now peg from 42 up to 43.. please note .. all the above is my opinion only .. on the 11th if we all meet up at bridge 42 as arranged .. before i start pegging out we can ALL take a look at both sections and decide where would accommodate the club best.. we have a open ticket to fish either section.as we all see fit on the day.. as long as we are all enjoying the day with comfort....
