I normally take my boy to mythe farm for pike fishing however we fancied a change of scene. Size of pike is irrelevant I was thinking either Pensham or wick. I will be dead baiting. Any suggestions, thanks in advance

Re: Change of scene

Although a short stretch, the BAA Trent length is good for a pike or two. Fished there a few years ago and the water boiled at my feet everytime I put roach etc back. Good for some nice perch.
Ladyham on the Severn had a pike or two showing when we had a match there in September, platforms to fish from if the river is up a bit.

Don't forget the zander and perch. Small coarse deadbaits will really open up your options.
