When I used to fish it the two main pegs were just before the weir opposite the house. Best I had was 40lb of chub and bream. Dont cast too close to the weir though

I only ever had chub but lost some decent fish which could have been barbel. Been a while since I fished it though. I might make the effort and try it again. It's a long walk so be prepared and be careful crossing the train line too !

Isnt the car park behind the farm anymore? Ive never been so only going off what the baa maps show.. car park for 1.2.n 3 is next to train bridge .. lower car parks is the level crossing ?

The car park for 1,2&3 as I remember is the top one shown on the map. You take the lane past the farm and follow it all the way to the end the car park is there. You go over a stile to the train line and walk over it to the next stile over that into the meadow. Like I said it's been a while, but good luck !

The weir is a good walk from the second car park. We could do with a car park up by the weir. There are barbel all along the stretch just a mater of putting the time in
