Hi to everybody, Im New BAA Member, Joined few months ago.
In around 3 months time I've had about 20 preety good sessions
With my spinnin rod and havnt had Any Bigger perch Than 15 - 20cm.
Fished Few places on avon, and severn and I really must doing something wrong.
Fished with mepps size 2 - 4, without a better luck.
Also tried medium Jigs soft lures white colour, green, yellow, dark green,
and some kind of a perch look.
Nothing seems to work for some chunkies.
Any advice would be percect.
Thanks

Spot on. Don't discount using a real worm - hook through the head, and snip a bit of the tail off - makes 'em wriggle more and releases scent into the swim.

THERE ARE STILL SOME LARGE PERCH AT STOURPORT. ALTHOUGH NOT AS MANY AS 3 OR 4 YEARS AGO. WORM OR DROPSHOTTING ARE FAVOURITE ESPECIALLY IN THE FAIRGROUND BASIN DURING HIGH WATER LEVELS. AT LOW LEVELS TRY CLOSE IN DOWN THE SIDE.

Wick is worth a try for a monster. I fished the pegs opposite the boats catching small roach on the float I thought I had a zander in the peg turns out it was a monster perch chasing my fish had one knocking 2lb that day but never hooked his big brother.
