Re: Coppice or UckinghallForget Uckinghall at the moment mate, had a look today and all the pegs are underwater, and you cannot access 80% of the lake,Mythe and Apperley are bound to be same, just not worth it, if you want some fishing time I would look at the Warks Avon, or Canals? When the levels are down, Uckinghall will fish well for Roach in the winter, maggots being the best bait. I would try a small maggot feeder set up, or milder days a waggler perhaps, personally looking forward to it, makes a nice change from Barbel tip staring lol

Re: Coppice or UckinghallThanks for the update. The Mythe was pretty but not very fishable yesterday when I went to check it out.

Re: Coppice or UckinghallLooked at Uckinghall yesterday afternoon and although you could fish it the level is very high. Fished Mythe yesterday which is also in flood however the level was still rising even to the point where the friendly bailiff came and told us to leave as the access track was becoming flooding from the nearby brook so not sure if you would even get on Mythe pool this morning unless you have a boat!

Re: Coppice or UckinghallFished coppice today. Very hard, had only two bites all day. Only one person caught out of 4 on the lake. Tried both float and bomb but no dice...
